Mr. Gorman has over 30 years in the construction industry in New England with the last
20 years as a strategic permitting specialist in the greater Boston area. He has extensive permitting experience in the City of Boston including Article 80 reviews at the Boston Redevelopment Authority as well as the downstream permitting requirements at the City of Boston Zoning Board of Appeal, Inspectional Services Department, Public Improvement Commission, Public Works Department, Water and Sewer Commission, Environmental Department, Landmark
Commission
and the Boston Fire Department. At the state level, he has represented numerous clients at the Massachusetts Architectural Access Board in resolving complaints and processing variance requests related to issues concerning persons with
disabilities.
A licensed builder in Massachusetts since the early 1980s, his experience counts hundreds of residential, commercial and mixed-use construction projects. In the
realm of project management, he has been involved in numerous large infrastructure projects for the MBTA (Silver Line World Trade Station, Operation Control Center at 45 High Street), Massachusetts Turnpike (Third Harbor Tunnel and vent buildings), AMTRAK (Northeast Corridor High Speed Electrification Project) and Massport (Hold Baggage Screening Project).
